@20lbs made this for me right before I graduated college four years ago. Gaming, sneakers and a diamond shirt. A lot of things have changed since then. I just sold all my dunks, I stopped with the gaming and a year and a half ago I started working for Diamond. Tomorrow is my last day at Diamond as I leave to be the Store Manager for Grizzly Griptape. It’s crazy how things happen and in what order. I want to thank @pattycakes245 @ray_rusto and @reina_queenrockfish for helping build my confidence and know how that initially gave me the push for something greater in this industry. I want to thank @lumbojack and @jeronwilson for believing in me and giving me the chance to work for a brand I’ve been a fan of since 2008. And I want to thank @selectsean and the @grizzlygriptape family for giving me this opportunity to showcase to the rest of this industry what I’m made of. This last year has been crazy and on a personal level it has been a struggle recently, but all of this, the good and bad, has all been a steady progression forward. It’s great to experience a positive affirmation of the simple fact that if you love what you do, work your ass off at what you do, and make yourself indispensable at what you do, good things will start to happen. It’s crazy to look back and see how everything has changed in the last five years, and come next week you know I’ll be pushing even harder to make the next five better. -Geoff
